2021 / 94 puntos
I love the elegance and harmony of the white 2021 Alejandra, produced with Albillo Mayor grapes from the old vineyards from the family, fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete and oak barrel and matured in new and used 300- and 500-liter oak barrels and concrete eggs for one year. 2021 was a slow-ripening year when the grapes achieved perfect ripeness, slowly, developing more aromas and flavors, and the wine has more complexity. It has elegant and perfumed notes of white and yellow fruit, a touch of pollen and a spicy twist. It has notes of apples and flowers, with integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied with good ripeness, 13.2% alcohol and balancing freshness and acidity, with a pH of 3.12 and 6.26 grams of acidity. It's clean, focused and precise, with clean flavors and a spark of freshness. 2,660 bottles and 70 magnums were filled in May 2023.
