Color cerezo granate.
Aroma a fruta pasificada. Potente, elegante, tostado, especiado, café.
Sabroso, graso, equilibrio con buena acidez. Retronasal muy persistente.
Ideal como postre digestivo.
Temperatura de servicio 14ºC-15ºC.
2011 / 94 puntos
The sweet red 2011 Recóndita Armonía should not be confused with other vintages of this wine that were released with a much shorter time in barrel. This spent 11 years in 225-liter oak barrels before it was bottled, so it has a mahogany color and a candied nose with pungent aromas and flavors, a touch of iodine, earth and varnish and a long finish. It's their interpretation of the old Fondillón from "la huerta de Alicante," a pure Monastrell with 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.11 and 165 grams of sugar per liter, less than in past vintages. It was produced with 80% raisins that were foot trodden in open-top 300-liter barrels, where it fermented for two months. 450 half bottles were filled in 2022. The label wears the subtitle "Late Bottled."
